Australia Post launches concession postage rates.

Australia Post has launched for the first time a concession rate postage stamp. This rate will be available through the MyPost Consession Account. This special rate will see concession card holders access to 60 cent stamps offsetting the new rate stamps by 10 cents.

“It is vital that Australia Post ensures we provide an affordable and accessible letters service for all Australians. We remain mindful of the impact to the cost of living of an increase to the stamp price, particularly for those groups who are more dependent on our traditional services,” said Managing Director and CEO Ahmed Fahour.

Concession card holders who wish to take advantage of this service will need to sign up for their MyPost Consession account at their local post office. Account holders will receive 5 free concession stamp however, a maxium of 50 stamps are allowed per year.

Thanks to Sophie Stott from Quickmail for sponsoring the showjumping class. Their Perth family owned business's Quickmail and Paperstork.com.au make generation and mass delivery of mail and invites very efficient. With a busy business, 3 young kids and too many hobbies its rare I'm in the winning circle but I was last weekend :)
