Hannah & Henry – How Quickmail Has Helped My Business Grow

We recently spoke to Elaine from Hannah & Henry about the inspiration for the business and her experience with Quickmail!

What inspired you to start Hannah & Henry?

My husband & I were already running another very successful business (this was a furniture & homewares store in Perth set up in 2015) but wanted more freedom to travel and see our family in Ireland. So, I thought about selling our current business and setting up an e-commerce business that could be run from anywhere.

It just so happens that I was pregnant with my second child and couldn’t find a stylish Nappy Bag and I had a lightbulb moment what if I made my own? After some research, I thought I might be on to something and I just started to source product & build a website.

What initially attracted you to Quickmail? 

They came highly recommended & we loved the idea that we could outsource the packing & posting of product.

In approaching Quickmail, which business problem were you trying to solve? 

It was very time consuming to pack the orders each night, we were still working from a home office and space was tight!

What solutions did Quickmail offer you? 

They offer same day dispatch which has been an awesome service that we & our customers have been able to benefit form, their turnaround times are so fast.

How does Quickmail continue to help you streamline your business? 

We have an inventory system which is excellent & very accurate. They have even performed stocktakes for us which has a huge benefit.

Was there anything new you learnt about eCommerce and fulfilment thanks to Quickmail? 

Honestly having Quickmail dispatch orders so quickly has been fantastic for our business, our customers cannot believe the turnaround times, also Quickmail get better Australia Post rates which as small business owner we couldn’t avail of as we don’t have the volume of product yet!

What would you say makes Quickmail stand out from the rest? 

Sophie, Louis & the team are all so friendly and approachable, nothing is too much bother and they answer our question so quickly and efficiently.
