THE SITUATION
In late 2015, Kate was looking for print and design solutions for her wedding. She needed invites, RSVPs and envelopes. She was referred to Quickmail by a friend who knew Quickmail had a full time graphic designer. Kate had been gathering ideas from the internet, especially Pinterest. She had a theme and colour scheme she liked, but came to Quickmail with an open mind. As the wedding was in February of 2016, she needed to have her invites printed in a short time frame so she could receive her RSVPs in sufficient time for wedding planning.
THE SOLUTION
Kate met with Roishin, Quickmail’s graphic designer who was ready to bring her ideas to reality. The first meeting Kate had with Roishin was a large brain storming session. By bringing in photos and Pinterest boards she had already collected, it helped Roishin to understand exactly what Kate wanted. This made the design process quick and easy. Kate’s wedding was at The Core Cider House, to communicate this idea Roishin used a floral design and apple artwork throughout the materials. Together Kate and Roishin looked into paper stocks, by using coloured paper stock, they were able to really transform the message.
Kate chose Curious Metallic and Coco Linen paper stocks. After the wedding, Kate came back to Quickmail asking for thank you cards to be designed and printed. After already working with Kate, the second time around designing the thank you cards was a breeze!
THE RESULTS
Roishin and the Quickmail team were able to provide Kate with a fast turnaround and individual design. Kate came to Quickmail with plenty of ideas in her head and through communication and design, we were able to create the perfect solutions. Once a design was approved, Quickmail were able to have the printing finished swiftly. Kate was able to send out her invites and receive her RSVPs in plenty of time.
